Our client, a prestigious US law firm, is seeking an accomplished Trademark lawyer with focus on Litigation to join as a Partner and enhance the strength of its Intellectual Property department in Brussels.
By becoming a part of this esteemed firm, you will integrate into a global network spanning 15 offices and comprising over 700 lawyers.
Responsibilities
- Trademark litigation: Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, analyzing evidence, preparing for hearings, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.
- Close collaboration with the international network:
- Foster strong relationships within the international network to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- IP expertise:
- Handle a broad spectrum of IP matters, including negotiating and drafting agreements on IP transfers and licenses, co-development agreements, partnerships, collaborations, outsourcing,…
- Comprehensive IP advisory:
- Provide expert counsel on all issues related to (soft) IP, with a specific focus on trademarks.
- Review and analyse IP-related contracts to ensure compliance and protection of client interests.
- Strategic IP development:
- Assist clients in formulating robust IP strategies to safeguard their intellectual property assets.
Profile
- You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in IP with a focus on trademark litigation
- Ambitious and passionate about the field
- You are a team player
- You are Dutch or French speaking with a very good knowledge of English
